We are excited announce the thrilling news that SS. Cyril & Philomena Catholic School was nominated and selected to receive the YMCA of Eastern Delaware County’s IMPACT Award. The award is given annually to two organizations that are recognized for doing impactful and transformative work in and for the community.
SS. Cyril & Philomena was chosen for “their impressive efforts in nurturing the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth of children enrolled in their school in Lansdowne, PA.” Additionally, the school’s core values closely align with the YMCA organization. The YMCA was also inspired by their holistic approach and how they appreciate, respect, and celebrate the individuality and cultural differences of their students.
The YMCA of Eastern Delaware County will be honoring and celebrating SS. Cyril & Philomena at their Impact Celebration on Friday, December 1, at the Drexelbrook Events Center.
