Saturday, May 13th, 2023, marked a special day for families in our community as we partnered with Coach Devon Buchanan and the FOCUS Youth Network to celebrate Family Health and Wellness Day. This fantastic event, organized by the 8th grade class of 2023 with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle and “Living a Lifetime of Wellness”, was an incredible success! From moon bounces, to relay races, board games, face painting, and more, it was a day filled with excitement and valuable resources for the community.
We thank all of our event partners including Delaware County Health Department, who provided water bottles, first aid kits, pens, and nutrition-related activities; Giant, who donated $150 in gift cards to be used for raffles and giveaways; and FOCUS Youth Network who provided the Bounce House, games and equipment, as well as cooking demonstrations.
